Biography

Dr Yann Quidé is a cognitive neuroscientist investigating the effects of stress and trauma on neurobiological and cognitive processes underlying psychiatric and pain conditions. He is a Research Fellow at UNSW Sydney and the Centre for Pain IMPACT at NeuRA and leads the Neuroimaging, Neurobiology, and Mental Health Program within the UNSW NeuroRecovery Research Hub.

His work integrates multimodal neuroimaging (MRI and EEG), stress and inflammatory biomarkers, and advanced analytic methods to identify vulnerability and resilience mechanisms in PTSD, anxiety, depression, affective disorders, and chronic pain. He founded and co-chairs the ENIGMA-Chronic Pain Working Group, coordinating global pooled analyses across more than 50 datasets (>2,500 chronic pain patients; >5,300 controls).
