Biography
Shouvik Das is a PhD candidate at the University of New South Wales and Neuroscience Research Australia (NeuRA). His doctoral research focuses on Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), with particular interests in its epidemiology, risk factors, and mechanisms underlying the development of chronic pain.
Prior to commencing his PhD, Shouvik worked as a research assistant in the McAuley Group at the Centre for Pain IMPACT at NeuRA. His previous work involved supporting recruitment and coordination for the NOTUS and CAPACITY trials, government-funded clinical trials exploring new approaches to the treatment of chronic low back pain.
