Biography
Karly is a PhD candidate at the University of New South Wales and Neuroscience Research Australia, where she investigates the role of exercise and other non-surgical approaches in the management of persistent pelvic pain. Karly is an APA-titled Continence and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, a nationally recognised credential awarded to fewer than 4% of Australian physiotherapists following extensive postgraduate training, clinical specialisation, and formal assessment. With a decade of clinical experience as a pelvic health physiotherapist, Karly brings a practical, patient-centred perspective to her research. Her work focuses on strengthening the evidence base for non-surgical treatments and helping ensure research better informs clinical management. Through her research, Karly aims to improve the care and treatment options available to people living with endometriosis and persistent pelvic pain.

- Member, NECST Registry Working Group (Physiotherapy & Allied Health), guiding national collaboration to develop allied‑health‑specific data standards and contribute to Australia’s endometriosis clinical research priorities.
