Biography
Filipe is a PhD candidate at UNSW/NeuRA, working with Prof James McAuley and Dr Rodrigo Rizzo at the Centre for Pain IMPACT, supported by the University International Postgraduate Award. He is also conducting a Study Within a Trial (SWAT) to test strategies for improving participant adherence in digital health interventions.
Filipe’s methodological interests include randomised controlled trials, systematic reviews and research integrity. He is committed to building an international collaborative network for clinical hypnosis research, currently developing an intercontinental investigation on digital hypnosis for patients with inflammatory bowel diseases.
